123 Years of Reaching for the Stars ✨ Happy Foundation Day, ISNHS!

Image
The 123rd High School Day celebration at Ilocos Sur National High School (ISNHS) was an unforgettable experience filled with excitement, unity, and pride.    Joining the parade was another highlight of the day, as I got to walk alongside my friends and classmates, all of us full of energy. The celebration showcased a variety of field demonstrations from different grade levels, each representing a unique cultural theme. Although our team didn't win the championship, the experience was still worth it. We gave our best in the performance, and the support we received from everyone made us feel accomplished. The significance of celebrating High School Day every year is to honor the history and achievements of ISNHS. It reminds us of the school's rich legacy and how far we've come. The event brings everyone together, creating a sense of unity and pride among students, teachers, and alumni. It's a way for us to celebrate our school's values of hard work, perseverance, and...

Overcoming Challenges in Ms FrontPage

Image
a. What are the learning/discoveries that I have gained? In the fourth quarter, I gained a better understanding of MS FrontPage and how it can be used to create and design websites. I learned about web page elements such as tables, forms, hyperlinks, and images, and how to organize them effectively. The process of designing a webpage using FrontPage opened my eyes to how websites are built and how important it is to ensure that every element on the page works seamlessly together. I also discovered how to use templates and customize them to fit my needs. b. What are the problems/challenges that I have encountered? One of the challenges I faced was managing the layout of the web page. I initially struggled with aligning different elements properly, such as images, text, and links. Sometimes, the page would not display as expected when previewed, and it was frustrating to figure out what went wrong. Additionally, understanding the various options for editing and formatting within Front...

BIG DREAM. CONTINUE REACHING THE STAR 👷🏻‍♀️

Image
In 15 years, I see myself as a successful civil engineer, having worked on many exciting and impactful projects. Over the years, I will have gained experience, learned new skills, and become an expert in my field. I hope to have worked on designing and building infrastructure that will make people's lives better, such as bridges, roads, or sustainable buildings. One of the main reasons I want to pursue this career is because I feel a strong desire to continue what my father started. He has always been an inspiration to me, and I would love to follow in his footsteps, carrying on the work and values he instilled in me. I want to honor his legacy and build on the foundation he laid. By then, I imagine I will be leading a team of engineers, guiding and mentoring young professionals who are just starting their careers. I will have contributed to making cities and communities safer and more efficient through innovative and sustainable designs. I also see myself continuing to grow, ...

Together for Gender Equality and an Inclusive Society

Image
The theme "WE for Gender Equality and an Inclusive Society" reminds us that everyone has a role to play in achieving gender equality. It's not just about women or one group—it's about all people, regardless of gender, working together to create a fair and equal society for everyone. Gender equality benefits everyone. When we all work together, we can break down harmful stereotypes and make sure everyone has the same opportunities, rights, and respect. It's important for all voices to be heard, and for people to feel included, no matter their gender, race, or background. This theme encourages us to take action together, supporting equality and building a world where everyone, no matter who they are, can live freely and fairly.
