Empowering Communities: A Research Initiative

Our Community-Based Research (CBR) project aimed to explore and address a specific issue in our community. Through this research, we sought to gain a deeper understanding of the concerns and needs of our community members. By working closely with our Community Monitor and stakeholders, we hoped to contribute to the development of effective solutions and promote positive change.

We were choosing which specific area to focus on within the category assigned to us for this CBR project. After voting on our Community-Based Research (CBR) topic, we choose the topic with the most votes. Then, we planned and assigned tasks to each group member. 


In the second photo, our team members are encoding the data they collected. This is an essential part of our study to ensure that our information is accurate and complete.


In the third photo, our team members are interviewing community members. This is a crucial part of our study to ensure that we gather the right information from people directly affected by our research.


In the fourth photo, we finalize our Community-Based Research (CBR) project. This meeting was crucial in ensuring that our project was comprehensive and accurate. With our CM's guidance and feedback, we refined our project and made necessary adjustments to achieve our research objectives.



After finalizing our Community-Based Research (CBR) project, we took a break and visited our hometown to relax and unwind. We enjoyed a delicious meal together and watched a show. It was a great way to celebrate our accomplishment and bond as a team.



Through our CBR project, we gained valuable insights into the complexities of community-based research. We learned the importance of collaboration, effective communication, and empathy in working with community members. Despite challenges and limitations, our team remained committed to delivering a high-quality project. This experience not only enhanced our research skills but also deepened our understanding of the value of community engagement and social responsibility.
